Only one image for this post (and is a low res version at that), because everything I wanted to capture from that night is evident here. After driving up some winding roads that I dared not to look over the side of, I reached the peak of the mountain, where it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. it was windy, but given how hot it was, it certainly was the welcome addition of air needed to cool me down. Up here one is able to see almost 360 degrees with minimal blockage of this incredible vista. The full moon was out, which is what has lit the road up slightly in the foreground, but the only other lights are those from the dwellings below and the stars. there was a beautiful sense of isolation this high above the rest of the world, and I surely could have stayed there longer if I didn’t have other locations to shoot that night.
